New corks won't fit in any of my wine bottles for homemade wine?
I bought a bunch of Youngs corks for my wine, but they just don't fit in most of my bottles. The couple I have managed to get them in, I had to soak them briefly just to get some lubrication on the sides to get them started, then I had to hammer them in. The pack specifically states, DO NOT SOAK.And when I went to pull them out to drink the wine, they more or less disintegrated.There's got to be something better than this.

I have a very old but perfect condition brandy decanter with glass cork top.?

My grandmother put buttons in it. It has beautiful etching design on the front & back The stopper is glass and etched with Verticale ridges. Both sides of the decanter is etched with horizontal ridges. It is a beautiful item and I would love to know if it has any monetary value or just intrinsic value.I did not appreciate the answer I received from Killyour.
