Question: I lost my wine cork, what can i use?
(Posted by: Amandy on 2010-03-21 19:47:03)
I didn't actually lose it...rather I didn't have the corkscrew in the first place and accidentally (was trying to pull it out with a metal thing) pushed it into the bottle! So now it's floating : "3 Any suggestions on how to cork it? I was thinking simply putting it in the fridge since that would slow any deterioration (however it would take in all the scents and odors of the fridge) and since it's a dorm that would be a bit gross...weeks old pizza and musky beer. (lovely). Sorry my typing is a bit off because I was already drinking I apologize. Any suggestions? |

I would use a cotton ball and cover that with aluminum foil |

Quit drinking wine. It's horrible to your health. Don't believe other people that wine is good for you cause it's not. So just throw that wine bottle away. You're wasting money anyways. Drink some water instead. |

I wouldn't use aluminum foil, afraid the wine might react with the metal. What I would do is use a piece of plastic wrap and a rubber band. If it is red wine, there is no need to refrigerate. |
