It depends on exactly what the wine is (what winery, what vineyard/ region, etc.) and how it has been stored - if it has not been stored properly for wine aging (55 degrees, dark, no big swings in temperature, humid), then it may not be worth much. Depending on the availibility of your wine in the open market, once you know the winery and specifics on your bottle(s), you can look at this site to see what retail stores that have it are selling it for to get a sense for range on value: wine-searcher.com/ This is another helpful site that would tell you what individuals, rather than wine retail stores, are selling that wine for - and if you were interested in putting it up for sale, you could consider selling it through this auction site: winebid.com/ |
