Question: Would a 11 year old bottle of merlot stored in the kitchen still be good?

Not sure about merlot but my parents had some wine etc. that had been stored for about 10 years and they said most of it was still fine. Some of it tasted a little like vinegar but most of it was fine. (if not a little more potent)

Only one way to find out.... uncork her and let her sit for 30 mins and then pour a glass to get the verdict!

If it was stored in a consistently cool, dark place it should be. Assuming it was any good to begin with.
