Question: Soft red wine i can find in a grocery store? (merlot)?

I have tried yellowtail which is REALLY good but i want to switch it up a little...Me and my best friend has a wine day every week so we really want to try new kinds of wines...We like our Red Wine soft..We usually drink Merlot, but if u have any recommendations we'll be glad to hear them :)

My favorite this year is Mirassou 08 pinot noir. It's about 9 dollars and a great deal at that.

I work at a restaurant, and I am told the Blackstone Merlot is very good, and they also have a Blackstone pino noir that is good. I am not big on red wine myself, but will drink those. If you have a wal-mart by you, their oak leaf is really cheap, but good, honestly. Rodney Strong merlot is also another one I serve often. I hope this helps. That sounds like a fun thing to do every week.

Pino Nior and Shiraz are also great. Lindamens is a good choice for a brand.

Bogle! They make a merlot and a cabernet. Both very good and reasonable price.

Beaujolais, give it a try. I think you'll like it and it's not hard to find. It is available at large grocery stores, Costco, Cost Plus.
